Charity wedding auction

My lovely wedding photographer (and my brother’s better half), Claire is off to Cambodia to volunteer for Anjali House.
Anjali House offers a safe and happy educational environment for street children in Siem Reap – helping to take them out of the begging culture that has grown up around the uneasy mix of tourism and poverty.
Claire will be organising activities for the children while she’s out there but also wants to raise as much money as she can for the project to keep up the great work they’re doing. So Claire’s mum – who runs the bridal boutique, Dresses to Impress in Barnstaple, Devon – came up with the fantastic idea of a charity wedding auction.
Take part in the charity wedding auction and you could win a bargain credit-crunch-friendly wedding while giving Anjali House a much needed cash injection. Everyone’s happy!
The charity auction wedding package
The generous folk down in Devon have donated a whole host of wedding services and products to make up the perfect wedding package for the charity auction. The package includes:
1) Designer wedding gown from Dresses to Impress Bells of Innocence movie of Barnstaple – your choice from four designs worth approx £800
2) Photography package from Andy Casey Professional Photography – worth approx £700
3) Wedding stationery from Impress stationery – worth approx £250
4) Luxury car hire from Celebration Cars – worth approx £350
Kiss of the Dragon dvdrip 5) Bridal bouquet and two bridesmaids posies from Four Leaf Clover Florists – worth approx £175
6) Bespoke wedding cake from Rosanne Hollowell – worth approx £250
How to take part in the charity auction
To take part in the auction place your bid here. Your bid must be higher than the reserve price of £650.
On Saturday 21 August all bids will be checked and the highest bid will win the package. All proceeds will then go to Anjali House.
You will find out if you have won by phone and in writing within 7 days of the auction date.
