Getting away from it all
Dec 9th, 2007 by Katie
Sometimes all this wedding planning becomes just a bit too much - especially when it clashes with the inevitable build up to Christmas.
You’re creating to-do list after to-do list, phoning venues, chasing caterers, acting as a UN peacekeeper on a variety of family feuds… and you can’t really remember why you’re doing this anymore.
It’s at this point that you grab your husband or wife to be and whisk them off to a country cottage for a few days away from it all.
Recharge those batteries and come back refreshed, ready to re-enter the fray! (Which maybe won’t be such a fray after all once you’ve had time to get a bit of perspective on it).
And just because we’re already married, that’s no reason for us not to take our own advice and escape to the country - to Kent to be precise, the garden of England.
So while you won’t be hearing from us for a few days as we relax far far away… from an internet connection, why not peruse a few UK getaways and add ‘country break’ to the top of your to-do list!
