Pick of the week Wednesdays: Green Guide for Weddings
Nov 19th, 2008 by Katie
this is it hd Blade: Trinity divx Welcome to what shall henceforth be known as ‘Pick of the week Wednesdays’!
From Wednesday to Wednesday we will scour cyberspace for interesting, unusual and downright excellent ethical wedding related products and services.
To get us started, this week’s pick is the extremely comprehensive ‘Green Guide for Weddings’ (and yes, before we go any further I must confess I am a little biased, I did write the foreword!).
Jen Marsden takes the reader on an intrepid expedition into the world of ethical weddings and leaves no (ethically sourced) stone unturned from engagement ring to eco venue, confetti to low carbon honeymoon.
But don’t for one moment thing that green takes the glam out of your wedding; there are tips galore for tying the knot in sustainable style, all served up in a lighthearted, unpreachy way that will have you tripping down the aisle green-guilt free.
And if you’re looking for people to show you how it’s done, worry not, the Green Guide is packed full of green couple case studies so you can copy their best bits.
As Jen says:
“A wedding is a fabulously fresh opportunity to start the way you mean to go on, finding new eco-companies and inspiration that you can use time and time again throughout your married life.”
Get your copy of the Green Guide for Weddings The West Wittering Affair full movie from just £8.99.
Next Wednesday… we’re on the lookout already but if you have any ethical wedding products or services you think we should shout about, send them in robert downey jr sherlock holmes !
Happy planning,
Katie
