Pretty fair trade necklace
May 22nd, 2008 by Katie
download Strange Bedfellows I enjoyed writing my post about frilly ethical knickers so much I’ve decided I’m going to do more posts pointing out pretty ethical and green wedding things I’ve spotted…
My friend who is getting married in July – and trying to go as ethical as possible, of course! (I feel a bit guilty actually as all my friends who are getting married at the moment are hastening to assure me that the beer they’re serving is from a local brewery or that they’ve only sent out ‘save the dates’ by email… as if I’m going to send the ethical wedding police round if they don’t keep me informed! But I digress…) – showed me this gorgeous fair trade necklace – or rather choker – she has selected to wear on the day.
I know the dress she is wearing (George, look away now!) is floaty and delicate so it should go perfectly.
Do you like?
If you spot something gorgeously ethical and weddingy, send it in and we’ll do our best to blog it!
Take care,
Katie

Where’s it from? Gorgeous!
Hi Hannah,
I’m trying to track it down! It was from Moskito Fair Trade but they seem to have vanished – and turned German! Their website just says: ‘Wilkommen’ Hmmm… I’ve written to People Tree to see if they know anything about it as I have a feeling they had a similar necklace at one point. I’ll let you know how I get on.
In the meantime, EcoChic does have some very pretty necklaces if you want to have a browse…
