Unbridal yourself at the Unbridaled Wedding Show!
Jan 8th, 2009 by Katie
Philadelphia brides are in for a treat this Saturday 10 January as the Unbridaled Wedding Expo comes to the Crane Arts Building.
From 10am – 4pm, Philadelphia couples can revel in the delights of this alternative wedding show which focuses on local, handmade, and environmentally friendly options for planning a wedding in Philadelphia.
No matter what your religion, race, preference, or income, this show should have something for you. From local florists and organic caterers, to tattoo artists and fire spinners, an extraordinary line-up of exhibitors awaits.
Festive Fotobooths, Baked Micro-bakery, Arcadia Boutique and Deer Tree Press are just a few of the 60 area businesses that will participate in Unbridaled.
Trying to break free from some of the commercial conventions of the ‘traditional’ wedding, co-founder Tracy McGinnis says, “Unbridaled gives the couple who has some interest in sustainability and originality in their wedding access to local businesses and artists that are inspired by the same values; artists they may not have otherwise come across via mainstream wedding planning.”.
Serious aisle style
A fashion show, produced by Lauren Raske, fashion stylist and show coordinator who specialises in creative presentations, will feature the glamorous Philly RollerGirls and will showcase local designers and their take on distinctive wedding attire and accessories.
