Wedding wear for work?
Aug 14th, 2007 by Katie
Did you know that this Friday 17 August is National Wedding Dress Day?
I’m ashamed to say I only just found out – but rest assured I rushed to let you know as soon as I did!
The idea behind the day – organised by Take A Break magazine – is to raise money for charity by donning ‘The Dress’ one more time (yep, not only do you raise money for a good cause you’re also re-wearing that too often one-wear-only dress!) whether to work, for a walk in the park, or perhaps doing a few chores around the house…
You can take a look at last year’s brides (and some grooms!) in their wedding best here.
Sadly, it’s probably too late for me to get sponsored to slip back into my gorgeous wedding gown this Friday (unless anyone is offering – photographic proof can be provided!) but if you’re taking part, send your pics in and tell us who you’re raising money for and why - we’d love to hear from you.

Katie
