Welcome to our new ethical bride-to-be

I’m afraid I’ve been dreadfully remiss; I encouraged our lovely new blogger bride, Laura, to get posting without actually introducing her to you first!
So here goes…
Laura is perfectly placed – or perhaps under pressure! – to create a great green wedding as the founder of green travel business, Ecoescape (well, at least the green honeymoon shouldn’t be a problem anyway!).
Having taken advantage of that 1 in 4 opportunity, the 29th Feb, to pop the question herself, the next step was getting green on the planning.
She seems to have already sussed out a Suffolk venue for their June 2009 wedding (good work!) but there’s plenty more to plan, and she’s ready for the challenge of convincing her family on the ethical issues – which means she’ll probably be wanting to head over to our forum for the ‘family not really getting what you’re doing’ discussion’!
Her partner, Andrew, is very supportive and is already getting ready to be a green groom! Laura says:
‘Together I hope we’ll inspire others to think a little differently about the planet but at the same time have a great day!’
